In 2009 I attended the DSE job fair at Aalborg University and visited Krüger's stand. I had an interesting talk with the people from Krüger and got a thorough introduction to Krüger's business. I have a degree in civil engineering. My daily work comprises everything from hydraulic calculations to rehabilitation planning as well as preparation of tender material etc. The corporate spirit is really good.
Job fair led to job
Charlotte Selmer Jensen - Project engineer, Sewage department
Stationed in Russia
Raoul Roestenberg - Project engineer
In 2003, I got my MSc in general engineering in Holland with special focus on environment. I got a job with Krüger A/S in 2005 and soon after stationed in Russia to work on the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in St. Petersburg. Now, I work with machine components for sewer network systems in Krüger's Danish division, but have a wide contact to foreign suppliers. In my projects I am involved during the entire phase from the sales phase, tender phase and throughout the execution phase. I have enjoyed Krüger's family-friendly employment practices and held 3 months parental leave.
Specialist within wastewater processes
Michael Vendrup - Senior process engineer
I have worked in Krüger for 20 years. Today I work as specialist within wastewater processes, especially wastewater from large industries in both Denmark and internationally. I have many good colleagues who are both qualified and interesting sounding boards. Therefore, my job contains a sound combination of engineering and human beings solving meaningful tasks.
Anita Weber - Project manager
I started as a project manager in Krüger's international division and was soon given the responsibility for a big project. A more experienced project manager was appointed my mentor and this set-up really worked out successfully. I come from Hungary originally and this provides me with a cultural understanding which is useful in my work on projects in East Europe.
Thomas Sønnichsen - Vice-department manager
I started as a project engineer in Krüger's Danish division in Aalborg in 1992. Later, I became project manager, but I felt like new challenges and made an organizational move to our international division. Today, I am product manager for BioCon and vice-department manager for the department handling sludge projects - a job that involves travelling in many European countries.
